Betty Ann (Basham) Howard

Betty Ann Howard, age 64 of Leitchfield, KY died Monday, May 3, 2021 at Owensboro Twin Lakes Regional Hospital. She was born in Hardinsburg, KY on October 24, 1956, the daughter of the late Willard and Evie Allgood Basham. Betty was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, flower gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ricky Howard who died March 10, 2021, granddaughter Paige Moore, brothers Willard Basham, Jr. and Claudie Basham, sister Dorothy Mae Basham, mother-in-law Thelma Howard. 

Betty is survived by 4 children: Dale (Jennifer) Moore and Gail Moore Pile of Harned, KY, Michelle (Haley) Howard of Annetta, KY and Melissa Flaugher of Leitchfield, KY

14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren

brother - David Basham of Jonesboro, Arkansas

father-in-law: Herman Howard of Westview, KY

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 12 PM with burial in the Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM on Friday.

Expressions of sympathy are suggested to the Betty Howard Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home to assist with expenses.
