Anna Leigh (Blissit) Basham

Anna Leigh Basham, age 94 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away October 27, 2021 at Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Breckinridge County on October 13, 1927, the daughter of the late Clyde and Myrtle Blissit. Anna Leigh was a member of Alexander Chapel United Methodist Church. She loved being a homemaker, cooking, baking, gardening, going to church and spending time with her family and friends. She and her late husband attended CB and Radio Jamborees.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Basham, daughter Wilma Jean Basham, step granddaughter Fabriann Ingle, sisters Alda Mohr, Leona Morris and Milner Mae Morris.

She is survived by her nephew Randy West, nieces Bonnie Limer and Susan Basham (Chad), her step granddaughter Dessa Murphy, her step great-granddaughter Bobbie Jean Ingle, dear friends Vonda Lockard and Wilma Thomas, along with other great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 11 AM with burial in the Custer Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, 3:30 - 6 PM and Monday after 8:30 Am.
