Wanda Armes, age 74 of Harned, KY died Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. She was born in Harned, KY on July 24, 1943, the daughter of the late Glen and Edna Hobbs Norton. Wanda was a member and Sunday school teacher at Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a retired rural mail carrier, a job she held for over 29 years. Wanda loved her family and treasured time spent with them.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Tommy Armes who died January 1, 2013.

Rod Armes (Cheryl) of Hardinsburg, KY
Bridget Shartzer (Larry) of Leitchfield, KY
7 grandchildren: Ryne, Rory, Robyn, Lyndsey and Riley Armes, Lane and Landon Shartzer
2 sisters: Dorothy Payne of Harned, KY and Margie Moore of Harned, KY
several nieces and nephews also survive

Funeral services will be held at Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 11 AM with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Wednesday, 3:30 - 8 PM and Thursday, 8 - 10:30 AM.
