Travis Sidney Eskridge

Travis Sidney Eskridge, age 90 of Hardinsburg, KY died Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Breckinridge Memorial Nursing Facility. He was born in Madrid, KY on June 12, 1928 the son of the late Paul Andrew and Mary Aliene Miller Eskridge. Travis was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a farmer. For several years, he worked at Breckinridge County High School as a janitor and later at Towne and Country Pharmacy. Travis loved his horses, coon hunting and collecting knives.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Robert, sisters Opal Marshall and Naomi Simmons, brothers LaMoin and Hershcel Eskridge.

Travis is survived by his wife Judy Smith Eskridge who he married June 7, 1957.

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 1 PM with Rev. Paul Williams officiating.

Burial with military honors will be held at New Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM on Wednesday.
