Rudolph Milner Brumfield, Sr. age 84 of Hardinsburg, KY died Wednesday, 4-10-2019 at his residence. He was born in Union Star, KY on December 15, 1934, the son of the late William Andrew and Gladys Noble Brumfield. Rudy was a member of St. Romuald Catholic Church, Kentucky Cattleman's Association and Kentucky Sheep Association. He was a retired meat cutter at Save-A-Lot, IGA and the former G & G grocery. Rudy was a farmer who raised cattle and sheep. He enjoyed farming, stock yard sales, fishing, cooking, mowing his yard, dancing and UK basketball.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Joseph Ware Brumfield, granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth Brumfield and sisters Ramona Nelson and Bonnie Smiley.

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home 308 South Hardin Street Hardinsburg, KY 40143 on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 12 PM with Fr. Tony Jones officiating. Burial will be in the St. Romuald Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, 4-8 PM and Saturday after 8:30 AM.
