Peggy Willoughby Williamson

Peggy Willoughby Williamson, age 92 of Hardinsburg, KY died Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the Heartford House. She was born in Falls of Rough, KY on November 5, 1925, the daughter of the late John Henry and Effie Mae Corley Willoughby. Peggy was a member of Lone Star Church of Christ. She was one of the originial waitresses who worked in the dining room of Rough River State Park, a homemaker and seamstress. Peggy enjoyed playing golf, bowling and cooking.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dwight Williamson, daughter Patricia Williamson, 2 grandsons Troy Corley and Randy Lewis and 1 brother Ray Willoughby.

Peggy is survived by 4 children: John Williamson (Karen) of Byron, GA
David Williamson (Tina) of Warrenton, VA
Judy Corley of Hardinsburg, KY
Sue Lewis (Kelly) of Falls of Rough, KY
1 sister: Linda McNeil of Radcliff, KY
8 grandchildren: Sydney, Leilani, Dutch, Austin, Alicia, Paul, Eddie and Stephen
several great grandchildren

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 1 PM with burial in the Ivy Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM Saturday.
