As a child, Nicolette was christened at Talbert Chapel United Methodist Church in Hardinsburg, KY and later in life, she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and was baptized at Shiloh Baptist Church in Louisville, KY.

Nicolette was our beloved daughter, sister, auntie "NeNe", godmother and niece. She was passionate and committed to her family. She was a daughter who made sure she knew the dates and times of her parents' doctor's appointments and she escorted them to and fro. She made schedules for the sisters to provide support to our parents weekly. She loved and supported her nieces, great nieces and nephew when there was a need. Nicolette loved to barbecue for the family during the summer. She was very passionate about family gatherings like Mother's Day, Father's Day, holidays and especially Christmas. She was very meticulous in decorating the family's Christmas tree for all to see and enjoy. She was known for baking the most delicious cakes, especially caramel pound, jam, chocolate and coconut. She loved any positive activities that would bring the family closer and more time spent together.
