Nellie Francis Duncan

Nellie Francis Duncan, age 92 of the Hites Run community of Breckinridge County, died Sunday, August 18, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Breckinridge County, KY on August 6, 1927, the daughter of the late Carey Estill and Nennie Armes Tucker. Nellie worked for several years at Galante Studio before working at Hardinsburg Elementary and later Breckinridge County Middle School in the lunchroom. She was a member of Hites Run Baptist Church. Nellie enjoyed quilting, sewing and farming. She loved children and served as a caregiver for the elderly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Carlie Carman and Joe Duncan and her brother Carey Tucker.

Nellie is survived by her sons - Larry Carman (Vickie) of Hardinsburg, KY
Eddie Carman (Laura Marlow - whose was Nellie's caregiver) of Hardinsburg, KY
4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren
1 brother - Ray Tucker of Hardinsburg, KY
1 sister - Ina Marie Bratcher of Owensboro, KY

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 11 AM. Burial will be in the Cloverport Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, 3:30 - 8 PM and Wednesday after 8 AM.
