Myrna Sue Dowell, age 69 of Hardinsburg, KY died Friday, June 16, 2017 at Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Harned, KY on November 4, 1947, the daughter of the late Howard and Violet Collard Dowell. Sue was a member of Garfield Baptist Church. She was a UK fan, enjoyed playing Wii bowling games and attending the annual Camp Loucon trip with her group home.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Veneta Teague and Brenda Dowell.  She is survived by cousins.

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 3 PM with burial in the Freedom Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 PM on Tuesday.
Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Hosparus or Freedom Cemetery.
