Marvin Randolph Basham

Marvin Randolph Basham, age 90 of Hudson, KY died Monday, October 28, 2019 at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center. He was born in Grayson County, KY on September 14, 1929, the son of the late William Adin and Shellie Agnes Mingus Basham. Marvin was a member of Custer Church of God and Hudsonville Lodge 262. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served during the Korean War era. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and watching westerns. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Helen and brothers William Adin “Bill” and James Shelton Basham.

Marvin is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Monte and Audrey Basham of Hudson, KY

2 grandsons: Neal Basham and his wife Tara, Cortney Basham and his wife Laurie

3 great grandchildren: Simon, Naomi and Celia Basham

2 step great grandchildren: Andersen and Scarlett Scott

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 12 PM with Rev. James Cobb  and Cortney Basham officiating. Burial with military honors will be in the Hudson Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 3:30 – 8 PM and Thursday after 8 AM. A Masonic service will be held on Wednesday at 7 PM at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Hudson Cemetery.
