Margaret Ann Haynes

Margaret Ann Haynes, age 86 of Hardinsburg, KY died Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Norton Audubon Hospital. She was born in Harned, KY on June 15, 1931, the daughter of the late David and Lucy Dowell Robinson. Margaret retired from the Breckinridge County Board of Education in 1984. She began her teaching career in a one room school house in Westview and taught the majority of her 33 years at Hardinsburg Elementary School. She was a member of Hardinsburg United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Breckinridge County Retired Teachers Association, Breckinridge County Homemakers and a former counselor at Camp Loucon. Margaret had many interests that include reading, shopping, traveling and church activities.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Donald, Andrew "Mose", Earl, Darrell and John Albert Robinson

Margaret is survived by her husband of 63 years Robert L. Haynes of Hardinsburg, KY
sister: Joyce Webster and her husband Perry of Kingswood, KY
several nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be held at Hardinsburg United Methodist Church on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 11 AM. Burial will be in the Kingswood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Wednesday, 3:30 - 8 PM and Thursday, 8 - 10:30 AM.
