Linda Nix, age 74 of McQuady, KY died Saturday, January 6, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Glen Dean, KY on December 13, 1943, the daughter of the late Harry Hale, Sr. and Laura Leigh Wheatley Hale. Linda was a homemaker who enjoyed working crossword puzzles, gardening, yard work and Kentucky Wildcat basketball. She was the "Queen of Bingo".
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Leo Martin, son Timmy Ball, grandson Thomas"Scooby" Ball, great grandson Ronald Dale Ball, Jr. and seven brothers Frank, Mike, Denver, Harold, Gene, Leonard and Harry Hale, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 11 AM. Burial will be in the McQuady Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, 4-8 PM and Wednesday after 8 AM.
