Kathleen Hoskinson Alexander

Kathleen Hoskinson Alexander, age 95 of Custer, KY died Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. She was born in Custer, KY on February 14, 1923, the daughter of the late Wilbur and Georgie Hicks Hoskinson. Mrs. Alexander was a homemaker who had many interests that include farming, cooking, gardening and family time. She was a member of Custer United Methodist Church and attended Rosetta United Methodist Church. She was past president of UMW, PTA , Sunday school and bible school teacher as well as church secretary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Irva Alexander, Jr. and 2 daughters Barbara Ann Cole and Patsy Fay Smith.

11 great grandchildren: Cassidy Board, Austin Board, Maisey Marr, Mailyn Marr, Kendall Cole, Trent Cole, Georgie Cole, Crystal Otter (Brandon), Jade Hylton, Johnna and Kyle Howdyshell
1 great great grandchild: Brendon Otter
2 sisters: Betty Carden of South Carolina and Christine Ramsey of Brandenburg, KY

Funeral services will be held at Custer United Methodist Church on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 3 PM with burial in the Custer Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, 4-8 PM and after 10 AM on Sunday.
