Joaquina "Tina" Lozano

Joaquina "Tina" Lozano, age 80 of Custer, KY died Monday, 11-11-2019 at Signature Health in Elizabethtown,KY. She was born in Los Angeles, CA on January 25, 1939, the daughter of the late Manuel and Georgia Salcedo Giron. Tina retired from Sears and Roebuck Company after 40 years of service. She was very family oriented and extremely generous. She enjoyed Black Friday shopping,  getting perms, jewelry and shoes. She made the best Mac and Cheese. She did not begin driving until an older age and she loved it!

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Lozano, her daughter Diana Salazar and siblings Anna Sanjuan, Manuel, Alfonso and Johnny Giron.

Tina is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Christine and Kelly Meadows of Custer, KY
Son and daughter-in-law: William and Rachel Lozano of South Gate, CA
Son-in-law: Marc Salazar of Los Angeles, CA
5 grandchildren: Marc, Jr., Faith, Daniel, Matheu and Miguel
3 great grandchildren and a great grandson due in February 2020: Nicolas, Brandin and Adoniyah
Brother and sister-in-law: Richard and Carmen Giron of Glendale, CA

In keeping with Tina's wishes, the family chose cremation with a graveside service to be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 2PM at the Cook Cemetery near Custer, KY  under the direction of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home.
