Jeaquetta Lucas, age 92 of Hudson, KY died Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Big Spring, KY on November 21, 1924, the daughter of the late Wiley Huffines and Bettie Bruner. She attended Hudson Community Church. Jeaquetta was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting, playing the piano and singing. For several years, she sold Avon. Jeaquetta adored her dog Precious.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Julius Lucas and 2 brothers - Vernon Huffines and Johnny Huffines.

She is survived by a niece, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law.

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 11 AM with burial in the Custer Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, 3:30 - 8 PM and Saturday after 8:30 AM.
