Janet Dennis Lucas

Janet Dennis Lucas, age 72 of McDaniels, KY died Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the home of her son in Hardinsburg, KY. She was born in SeRee, KY on January 23, 1947, the daughter of the late Elza and Margie Harper Dennis. Janet was a homemaker who loved being with her grandchildren and yard sales. She attended Harvest for Jesus Christ House of Prayer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Lucas and brother Roger Dennis.

She is survived by 3 children: Mark Lucas and Tandy Lucas of McDaniels, KY
Chris Lucas and his wife Beverly of Hardinsburg, KY
4 grandchildren: Brooke, Tori, Brock and Caroline
2 sisters: Brenda Smith of Leitchfield, KY
Charlene Moore and her husband Ricky of SeRee, KY
friend of many years - Marcella Ramey of Madrid, KY

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home 308 South Hardin Street  Hardinsburg, KY 40143 on Thursday, 2-21-2019 at 11 AM. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in SeRee, KY. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 3:30 - 8 PM and Thursday after 8 AM.
