Jan Lyons, age 50 of Louisville, KY passed away June 9, 2017. She was born and raised in Louisville. She loved her career in Early Childhood Education. Jan was an amazing, loving caring woman making friends thoughout her short life.

She was preceded in death by her parents James W. Lyons and Jean Taul Lyons Thomas.

Left to cherish her memory are her siblings Kathi Lyons Fine (Glenn) and Joseph Lyons of Louisville, KY and Eddie Lyons (Beth) of McQuady, KY.

Also the loves of her life, her nieces and nephews: Chase Fine, Jason, Jasmine, Jimmy, John and J P Lyons, Amber Spears, Jennifer Harris, Sophia Sherron, Valerie Brooks and Tavia Marcum. She is also survived by her stepfather James Thomas, uncles Charles Taul and Edwin Howey, her best friend Janet Self Vowels (Joe) and the love of her life, her fur-baby Biscuit. She will also be missed by her many loving cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at New Clover Creek Baptist Church 6308 North Highway 105  Hardinsburg, KY 40143 on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 1 PM CDT with visitation beginning at 11 AM CDT. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
