Glenn Basham

Glenn Basham, age 67 of Hardinsburg, KY died Monday, November 11, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Hardinsburg, KY on July 29, 1952, the son of the late Harold and Virginia Mae Limer Basham. Glenn was an ordained minister and member of New Clover Creek Baptist Church. He retired from National Southwire Aluminum. Glenn was a member of Breckinridge County Community Center where he enjoyed playing golf. He loved his family and friends. Glenn never met a stranger and loved striking up a conversation with anyone he met. He spent many hours reading his bible.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Shannon Rebecca Basham Strasburger and brother and sister-in-law James "Buster" and Ruby Taul.

Glenn is survived by his wife Donna Taul Basham who he married at New Clover Creek Baptist Church on January 8, 1971.

Funeral services will be held at New Clover Creek Baptist Church near Hardinsburg, KY on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 11 AM. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg, KY on Wednesday, 4-8 PM and Thursday at the church from 9 - 11 AM.
