George Lee Buerer

George Lee Buerer, age 79 of Irvington, KY died Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born in Oakdale, CA on July 29, 1939, the son of the late Milton George and Dorothy Redding Buerer. He was a self employed sheep shearer who enjoyed photography and reading. George was the past president of the Kentucky Sheep Association.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Lillian Ramirez.

George is survived by 3 children: George Buerer, Jr. of Oregon
Marlene Cromis (Pat) of Irvington, KY
Sandy Buerer of Hopkinsville, KY
6 grandsons: Colton, George III, Dustin, Patrick, Kevin and Matthew
1 brother: Leslie Buerer (Lynn) of California
2 sisters: Barbara Buerer of Arizona and Ruthie Bell (Tim) of California

A memorial service will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 1 PM. Visitation will begin at 11 AM on Thursday.
