Fred Robbins, Jr.

Fred Robbins, Jr. age 92 of Hardinsburg, KY died Friday, December 13, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Hardinsburg, KY on April 18, 1927, the son of the late Fred and Myrtle Miller Robbins. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 25 years.

He was a member and deacon emeritus of Hardinsburg Baptist Church. Mr. Robbins was an army veteran of WWII. He had several interests that include fishing, reading and farming. He was a pilot and loved flying.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy and son Larry.

Mr. Robbins is survived by 3 children: Richard Robbins and his wife Patti of Hardinsburg, KY

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg, KY on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 11 AM with Rev. Harry Dooley and Rev. Todd Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Ivy Hill Cemetery in Hardinsburg, KY.

Visitation will be held on Monday, 4-8 PM and Tuesday after 8 AM. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Blackford Breckinridge Baptist Association.
