Ernie Thompson

Ernie Thompson, age 50 of McDaniels, KY died Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Breckinridge Health. He was born in Washington, DC on April 28, 1969 to William Jacob and Viona Cutliff Thompson. Ernie was a Mason with Hudsonville Lodge and a member of Iron Legacy Motorcycle Club in McDaniels, KY. He was a self employed mechanic and enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycles, shooting sports, working on anything that did not run and getting it up and going - better known as a tinkerer. He loved time with his family especially his grandson.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Bill and Verbal Thompson and Lucille Tucker.

daughter - Samantha Thompson (Scott Ratliff) of McDaniels, KY

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Friday, September 13, 2019 at 10 AM with Rev. Gary Woosley officiating. Burial will be in the McDaniels Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, 4-8 PM and Friday after 8 AM.

Expressions of sympathy are suggested to the Ernie Thompson Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home to assist with expenses or Breck. Co. 4-H Shooting Sports.
