Emma Frances Marcum, age 69 of Louisville, KY died Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. She was born in Hardinsburg, KY on September 30, 1948, the daughter of the late Willard Lewis Stith and Jeannette Lee Harned Stith.

Emma was a graduate of Butler High School, a member of the Methodist faith and an active member of Custer Order of Eastern Star. She loved her family, her dog Sweet Cakes, traveling, playing Rook, Phas 10, Monopoly and Dominos, crafts and collecting stuffed animals.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Fred Marcum,

4 brothers: Lewis Leon Stith, Willard Larry Stith, Garry Leo Stith and Franklin Ethridge Stith.

Emma is survived by 2 sons: Chuck Allen Marcum of Louisville, KY

Larry Scott Marcum (Lisa) of Floyds Knobs, IN

6 grandchildren: Lucille Rose Marcum, Nicholas Scott Marcum, Scott Allen Ita, Kayla Renae Ita, Lindsay Perdue and Jessica Pepper.

8 great grandchildren

1 brother: Larry Swisher (Mae Lou) of Louisville, KY

2 sisters: Willnetta Lewis (Danny) of Sun City Center, FL

Annetta Martin (Rois) of Elizabethtown,KY

Mother-in-law: Elizabeth Marcum of Louisville, KY

Aunt: Clara Rose Harned

Nieces and nephews: Tonya Wilbur (Dale) and their daughter Kiegan

Kenny Mattingly (Deb) and their daughter Jordyn

Butch Stith (Cheryle) and their daughters Christa, Brianna and Cheyenne

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 11 AM. Burial will follow in the Custer Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018, 4-8 PM CDT and Tuesday after 8 AM CDT. An Eastern Star service will be held on Monday at 6 PM.
