Elnora Bernice Ates Conder, age 94 of Hardinsburg, KY died Monday, December 25, 2017 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. She was born in Montgomery, Louisiana on September 7, 1923, the daughter of the late Samuel Calvin and Lessie Edith Fletcher Ates. Mrs. Conder was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, family time, shopping, using her IPad, listening to Sunday services on the radio, writing songs and poetry, singing, playing the piano and harmonica. She was the Scrabble champ of her family and she attended the former Lighthouse Assembly of God Church. She was the last remaining of  13 brothers and sisters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Richard Conder and her brothers and sisters.

Sandra Henderson (Ronald) of Troy, Missouri

Michael Conder (Jean), Steve Conder, Dale Conder and Kenny Conder of Hardinsburg, KY

Gary Conder (Sandra) and Ronnie Conder (Terri) of Hawesville, KY

Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great greatgrandchildren

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 1 PM with Bro. Kent Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Garfield Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, 4-8 PM and Friday after 8 AM.
