Edna May Brown, age 90 of Harned, KY died Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Breckinridge Memorial Nursing Facility. She was born in Illinois on August 16, 1927, the daughter of the late Orum and Gracie Meador Norton. Edna was a member, deacon, elder and Sunday school teacher at Ephesus Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She retired from Eleanor Beard Studio after many years. Edna had many interests that included sewing, crocheting, quilting, gardening and cooking. Family was very important to her and she cherished times spent with them.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Percy Owen Brown, Sr., grandson Troy Brown, brothers James Norton and Duane Norton, sisters Mary Alice Otten and Ruth Cannon

Edna is survived by her son: P. O. Brown, Jr (Wanda) of Smithfield, VA

Rachel Clark (Craig Nevitt) of Payneville, KY
3 grandchildren: Timmy Scott Allen, Justin Clark and Johnna Hardin (Tristen)
3 step grandchildren: Jacob Lewis Compton (Danielle), Aaron Lee Compton (Brandy) and Kerstin Nevitt
1 great grandson: Jackson Clark
4 step great grandchildren: Jacob and Miranda Compton, Zoey and Hayden Compton

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 12PM. Burial will be in the Ephesus Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, 3:30 - 8 PM and Monday after 8 AM.

Expressions of sympathy are suggested to the Alzheimers Association or Breast Cancer Research.
