Charles Edward Goff, age 53 of Falls of Rough, passed away Sunday, April 27 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was born in Tell City, IN on April 15, 1961. He was a self employed logger and enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church, McQuady VFD and a 4-H Shooting Sports Coach.
Charles is survived by his wife Cathy Lynn Phillips Goff of Falls of Rough; two children, April Renee Springston and her husband Ricky of Hardinsburg; and Charles Tyler Goff of Falls of Rough; two grandchildren, Aidan Richard and Benjamin Cade Springston and Cullen Edward Springston who is due to arrive in August; his parents, Charles and Emma Tess Robertson Goff of Falls of Rough; two brothers, Tommy and Robert Goff of Falls of Rough; three sisters: Betty Rose Nash of Hawesville; Theresa Hinton of Axtel and Frances Miller of Hardinsburg; and two special friends, Aaron and Katrina Gamble.
Funeral services were held at Corinth Baptist Church in McQuady on Wednesday, April 30. Rev. Ralph Nash and Rev. Adam Nash offi ciating. Burial was in Goshen Baptist Church Cemetery in Glen Dean. Memorial contributions are requested to: McQuady VFD or Crusade for Children.
