Bryan Lee Payne

Bryan Lee Payne, age 66 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away Friday, October 18, 2019. He was born in Hardinsburg, KY on March 3, 1953, the son of the late Maurice and Frances Hinton Payne. Bryan was a devout Catholic and well known for his plumbing business, Payne’s Plumbing, from which he recently retired.

He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and enjoyed restoring  Chevy S10’s, being on the family farm, sitting outside visiting with his neighbors and watching UK basketball.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Marilyn Payne and brother Leo Payne.

Bryan is survived by his son Bradley Payne and his wife Natalie of Owensboro, KY

Daughter – Betsy Critchelow and her husband Sam of McDaniels, KY

7 grandchildren: Jack, Kaden, Kylie and Eva Payne, Ella, Jada and Hank Critchelow

2 sisters: Jenny Critchelow and her husband Steve of Harned, KY

Margaret Speaks and her husband John of Hardinsburg, KY

1 brother: Fred Payne and his wife Karen of Lexington, KY

Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church 4711  South Highway 105 in McQuady, KY on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 12:30 PM. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home  308 South Hardin Street  Hardinsburg, KY 40143 on Wednesday from 9AM – 12PM.
