Betty Franklin Thomas

Betty Franklin Thomas, age 81 of Custer, KY died Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on November 19, 1936, the daughter of the late Allie and Anna Mildred Pile West. She worked for many years in retail sales, enjoyed playing Rook, cooking and shopping.

Betty is survived by 3 children: Libby Bryan of Elizabethtown, KY
David Thomas (Vickie Pence) of Elizabethtown, KY
Sarita Dowell (Keith) of Custer, KY
6 grandchildren: Jennifer Metcalfe (Travis), Tom Dowell, Allie Bryan, Drew Thomas, Annie Thomas and Emma Thomas
2 great grandchildren: Jaynie Dowell and Elena Metcalfe
1 sister: Karen Blancett (Charley) of Louisville, KY
1 niece: Betsy Blancett-Narcelli (Dan)

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 1 PM. Burial will be in the Custer Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 3:30 - 8 PM and Thursday after 8 AM.
