Beavin F. Thornsberry, Jr. age 87 of Hardinsburg, KY died Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Breckinridge Memorial Nursing Facility. He was born in Hodgenville, KY on May 27, 1929, the son of the late Beavin F. Thornsberry, Sr. and Elizabeth Marcum. Beavin was a member of St. Romuald Catholic Church and an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a charter member and founder of Breckinridge County Community Center, a former Little League coach,  member of KAEC and Big Rivers Electric Co-op. Beavin was the retired General Manager of Meade County RECC. He enjoyed playing golf and traveling.
He is survived by his wife Ginna Thornsberry of Hardinsburg, KY

Funeral services will be held at St. Romuald Catholic Church on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 11 AM. Burial with military honors will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Friday, 3:30 - 8 PM and Saturday after 8:30 AM. A prayer service will be held at 7 PM on Friday.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Romuald Church.
