Sue Fentress, age 85 of Hardinsburg, KY died Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. She was born in Glen Dean, KY on December 14, 1932, the daughter of the late Fred and Verna Drane Thornhill. Sue was a member of Kingswood Wesleyan Church and a homemaker. She loved her church,her family and enjoyed traveling to Bowling Green to spend time with her great granddaughter Ally Jean.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Fentress, son Lyndon B. "Chip" Fentress, son-in-law Perry Tabor, brother Kenny Thornhill, sister JoAnn Wright, brothers-in-law Dan Fentress, Charles Fentress and Si Wright, sister-in-law Anna Lucy Sullivan.
Sue is survived by her daughter Cindy Tabor of Harned, KY
stepson: Butch Fentress of Hardinsburg, KY
8 grandchildren: Casey Stephens (David), Alexis Fentress, David Fentress (Tracey), Becky Fentress, Janet Miller (Eric), Alex Fentress, Regina Fentress and Samantha Fentress
3 great grandchildren including Ally Jean Stephens
1 sister: Judy Armes (Wendell) of Hardinsburg, KY
6 sisters-in-law: Shirley Thornhill, Elaine Hinton (Louis), Lindy Nix (Kenny), Mary Nell Brumfield (Bill), Shirley Fentress and Ollie Armes.

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 2 PM. Entombment will be in the Pile Cemetery on the Fentress farm in Harned, KY. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM on Tuesday.
