Sharon Lynn Winkler, age 50 of Knottsville, KY died Saturday, November 26, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Louisville, KY on May 5, 1966, the daughter of the late James Stephen and Martha Louise Kennedy Alexander. Sharon was an in home caregiver who enjoyed the families she worked with, her family, watching U K basketball, working crossword puzzles and crosstitch. She attended St. Stephen Cathedral.

2 brothers-in-law - Jimmy Winkler (Judy) and Robert Winkler (Anna) of Knottsville, KY
several nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be held at St. Romuald Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 1 PM with Fr. Brian Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Tuesday, 4-8 PM and Wednesday after 8:30 AM.

Memorial contributions are requested to the Sharon Winkler Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
