Rudell Allen, age 104 of Hardinsburg, KY died Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Hardin County on June 8, 1913, the daughter of the late  Sim and Ruth South Burkhead. Mrs. Allen was a homemaker who had many interests that included gardening, canning, sewing, quilting and cooking. She was a member of McDaniels Antioch United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Wesley Allen, son-in-law David Whitworth and 7 siblings Carlos, Gilbert, Archie, Wilbur, Russell and Roy Burkhead and Gladys Powell.

sister Lois Wright of Crestwood, KY

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at 1 PM. Burial will be in the Hudson Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday beginning at 9:30 AM.
