Romuald W. Mattingly, age 68 of Balltown, KY died Saturday, September 9, 2017 at University Hospital. He was born in Mattingly, KY on December 21, 1948, the son of the late Charles Herman and Loretta Keenan Mattingly.

The "Mayor" of Balltown as he was affectionately known by his family and many friends, loved and lived life to the fullest. He had a happy-go-lucky personality and infectious laugh that would make anyone smile. He loved everything "outdoors" including fishing, hunting and farming. He loved to aggravate in a good way and if he wasn't, he was having a bad day. His family was his world - he was a proud husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Romuald was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and he was very proud to be raised in the catholic faith. He and Theresa continued by raising their children the same.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers - Shelby and Philip Mattingly.

Danielle, Jordan, Cameron and Lily Mattingly
Luke Jeremy, Katey, Mary Grace and Sydney Mattingly
1 grandchild due in November

Funeral services will be held at St. Romuald Catholic Church on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 11 AM. Burial will be in the St. Rose Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday after 9 AM.
