Oscar L. McCamant, Jr., age 86 of Constantine, KY died Monday, October 9, 2017 at University Hospital. He was born in Louisville, KY on July 21, 1931, the son of the late Oscar L. McCamant, Sr. and Margaret Murray McCamant. He retired from General Electric in 1991, was an Army Reserve veteran, a member of Hudson Community Church and a 50 year Mason. Mac had many interests that included farming, working in his workshop and attending church. He could repair just about anything and was very inventive. Mac loved the Lord and was kind to all.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 siblings - Louise Miller, Doris Gentry, Eva Fisher and Blaine McCamant.

3 nieces: Polly Pennington, Edith Judd and Jerri Stewart

Funeral services will be held at Hudson Community Church 5000 Highway 410  Hudson, KY 40145 on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 12 PM EDT. Entombment with military honors will be at Evergreen Cemetery 4623 Preston Highway  Lousiville, KY 40213. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday, 4:30 - 8 PM EDT and Thursday after 9:30 AM EDT. A Masonic service by Zoneton Lodge # 964 will be held on Wednesday at 7:30 PM EDT.
