Mary Ruth Henning, age 90 of McDaniels, KY died Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at the home of her daughter. She was born in Roff, KY on September 5, 1927, the daughter of the late Edward and Lillie Brown Critchelow. Mary Ruth was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She was a homemaker who had several interests that included quilting, cooking, gardening and flowers. She loved her home and having her family there with her. She worked for E.B. Kennedy insurance Company, Olin Chemical Company and Rough River Dam State Park.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Henning, son Roderick Henning, son-in-law Phillip Alexander, brother Franklin Critchelow and sisters Frances Jewel Spencer, Anna Leigh Critchelow, Edna "Shorty" Ballman and Margaret Marie Moorman.

Funeral services will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11 AM. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church after 9:30 AM on Saturday under the direction of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home.
