Marsha Faye Compton, age 66 of Hardinsburg, KY died Monday, December 5, 2016 at Kensington Center in Elizabethtown, KY. She was born in Russellville, KY on September 16, 1950.

She was a former employee of the Galante Studio, Walmart, McDonalds and Taco Bell. She was a member of Stinnettsville Community Church and enjoyed crocheting, playing cards and being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Compton, daughter Donna Brooks and father Haskel Key.

Marsha is survived by her son Marcus Compton of Leitchfield, KY

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Friday, 12-9-2016 at 11 AM with Rev. Jube Stevenson officiating. Burial will be in the Bennett Cemetery near Custer, KY.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, 4-8 PM and Friday after 8:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are being requested to the Marsha Compton Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
