John Moody Rollins, III, age 70 of Louisville, KY died Friday, March 10, 2017 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on October 15, 1946. John was an Army veteran and a retired heavy equipment inspector with Civil Service. He was a member of Meade - Breck Bass Club and enjoyed fishing, hunting and NASCAR.

He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather - Maxine Thompson Casey and James Casey

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 11 AM CDT with Wilma Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Custer Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, 3:30 - 8 PM CDT and Monday after 8:30 AM CDT.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Thomson-Wood Veterans Center 100 Veterans Drive  Wilmore, KY 40390
