James Duncan "Dunk" Jolly, age 87 of McQuady, KY died Friday, March 2, 2018 at his residence. He was born in McQuady, KY on May 17, 1930, the son of the late Byron and Mildred Lyons Jolly. He was a member and former Sunday school teacher at CorinthBaptist Church and a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Dunk was an inventor - also known as a jack of all trades by his family - and could fix and do anything he set his mind to. He was a talented cabinet maker, having supplied many homes over the years with beautiful kitchens. He was a farmer, enjoyed reading his bible, National Geographic magazines and attending Final Four tournaments.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Roger Jolly, Ballard Jolly and his wife Mary.

Funeral services will be held at Corinth Baptist Church on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 11 AM with Rev. Andrew Rupard officiating. Burial with military honors will be in the CorinthBaptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Sunday, 3:30 - 8 PM and Monday after 8 AM.
