Bobby Gene Kiper, age 75 of Hardinsburg, KY died Monday, May 22, 2017 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in McDaniels, KY on February 17, 1942, the son of the late Hubert Kiper, Sr. and Fannie Mae Darnell. He retired from American Olean Tile and was a member of Community Praise and Worship. He enjoyed watching TV, especially Walker Texas Ranger, gardening and watching the grass grow so he could mow, singing and playing his mandolin and listening to Bluegrass music. He loved watching his grandchildren play sports.

He was preceded in death by his son Barry Kiper, his grandson Christopher Kiper and his brother Hubert Kiper, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at Community Praise and Worship on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 1 PM with  burial in the New Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Wednesday, 3-8 PM and Thursday at the church after 9 AM.
