Anna Belle Dowell Gregory Benifield

Anna Belle Dowell Gregory Benifield, age 82 of Rock Hill, SC died Thursday, March 8, 2018. She was born in Union Star, KY on September 23, 1935 the daughter of the late Roy L. and Edna Mae Smith Dowell. Anna Belle was a former member of Harned United Methodist Church and a current member of Mt. Holly United Methodist Church in Rock Hill. She had many interests that include cooking, gardening, canning, sewing, quilting, playing Bingo, working election polls and church functions. She was a wonderful friendly lady who lived to serve and share her time and talents with so many.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Norman Gregory and Jimmy Benifield and her sister Nancy Carman.

Anna is survived by 4 children: Bob Gregory and Rosey Gregory of Tuscon, Arizona
Rick Gregory of London, KY
Steve Gregory of Chester, SC
2 grandchildren:Mary Bess Godsey and Jason Gregory
3 great grandchildren: Noah, Micah and Mariah Godsey
3 brothers: Paul Dowell of Harned, KY
Robert and Ronnie Dowell of Waverly, TN

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 1 PM with burial in the Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, 3:30 - 8 PM and Tuesday after 8 AM.
